Dreams reflect our innermost thoughts and feelings. Each one of us has our own unique dream symbols that exist to guide and support us. By exploring and unlocking our symbols, we can better understand ourselves and the unconscious attitudes and beliefs that influence our lives.
The shadow contains the unconscious aspects of our personalities, including repressed or denied thoughts, feelings, and desires. By bringing the shadow into awareness and integrating it, we gain
self-awareness and self-acceptance, and ultimately find relief from distressing symptoms such as depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem.
Trauma occurs when we have experiences that overwhelm our system. Trauma creates an overactive alarm system that puts our body in fight/flight, freeze, or fawn. We struggle to focus, manage our emotions, and flow with life. Trauma can be healed. I am trained in EMDR, a modality proven to resolve the symptoms of trauma.
